City to Surf Event
This year ELC is putting the mother of all teams into the City to Surf event and we would like YOU to be part of it. WHY?
- it’s for a great cause.
- its heaps of fun and our aim is to work with you in making it a real focus for your fitness training over the next 6-8 weeks.
- You don't have to be a runner to enter, many of us are walking this year and you have the choice of doing either the full 12km or the shorter 4km distance.
- Here's what you need to do to be in on the event this year.

Welcome to Jeremy Hunter and Associates.
We are delighted to be able to welcome Jeremy Hunter (one of Perth's leading sports physiotherapists) and his team, including his wife Tristram and Tim to the club. To have our own in house physiotherapy team, of this calibre on board is a major bonus for the club. Both from the perspective of adding expertise to our well established rehabilitation program and as a useful addition to our sports specific programs. Also for general advise, injury prevention and recovery for you our members. They are a great bunch of people and we welcome them to ELC (with open arms and aching limbs)

Member of the month and other achievers
Every one is an achiever at ELC but every month there are a few members who really need to be recognized for the fantastic results they have achieved. Firstly as a way of congratulating them on their results and more importantly to inspire and remind the rest of us of just why we do it!

I’ll admit it—I’m vain. So when I put on my summer tank tops a few months ago and noticed the dreaded "batwings" growing on the back of my arms, I panicked. I was too young to have my arms jiggling when I moved! I had to do something, fast—something more productive than hiding behind long-sleeved shirts for the rest of my life. I had to tone up my arms.
